The resort is built on an estate of more than 5.7 million square meters, with minimum building density, guaranteeing environmental integration, maintenance of the surroundings and personal enjoyment. Accommodation
Surrounded by golf courses, open spaces and landscaped gardens, designed as natural balconies over the Mar Menor… Novo Carthago residential areas have been developed to represent the best of the Mediterranean’s characteristics: large spaces that open onto a great oasis, with the Mar Menor, its beaches and islands as the backdrop.
Of the total area that Novo Carthago will cover (almost 5.7 million m2), only 22% (1,260,000 m2) will be used for residential purposes. The aim is to minimize in so far as is possible the density of urban development in which a planned 5,000 homes are to be built, in order to achieve greater exclusivity and privacy for residents. Proof of this is the occupation of residential areas by homes: of the 1,260,000 m2 of residential areas, only 265,000m2 will be occupied by accommodation, creating large green areas in the heart of residential complexes.
Villas, bungalows, semi-detached houses, apartments, etc. All types of homes are going to be part of Novo Carthago, all with one common denominator: Mediterranean style, with maximum quality, spaciousness, secure perimeters with controlled access, and a maximum of 3 floors in all buildings.
Location
Novo Carthago is located in a unique and exceptional area, on the shores of the Mar Menor. It enjoys a mild climate with the islands of Perdiguera and Barón visible on the horizon, and its natural borders are pristine beaches.
Novo Carthago is situated in Murcia, in the Cartagena municipal area, on the Mar Menor shore. The complex is designed on a 5,700,000 m2 area dominate by ample green areas, natural spaces, paradise-like beaches and sports areas, including two golf courses, which will control and conserve the area’s flora and fauna.
The residential tourist resort will be developed in a location that is perfectly connected via the main motorway to Cartagena (only five minutes away), to Murcia (half an hour away) and near to the main airports: Murcia (San Javier), Alicante and the planned Corvera Airport, also in Murcia.
Novo Carthago is situated in a magical place that has attracted visitors for more than a thousand years, and is still believed to be, as in ancient times, the doorway joining the heavens and earth.
